on the home page the three shows were seperately being redesigned, and i was in charge of in2ition. the image directly below is on www.take180.com. i then was asked to make a matching internal promotial graphic box with area for dynamic text with information about current shows and challenges on the site. (wow could that have been any wordier or more awkward? i am wordy and awkward... its part of my charm!)

umm yah. ijustine. i think i will see her face floating in front of me forever. it's really pretty creepy. fun work though. a lot of collaboration with scot.

these last two were by far my favorites. dark creepy and ominous. don't you just love the juxtaposition?

when obsessively manipulating images in imageready and actually getting a high off it that makes me realize im a bona fide dork...

sometimes i feel like all i do is make prize graphics. but that’s ok.
let the happy green ray of take 180 envelop you with free shit. and i don’t mean that in a mean spirited way. win some prizes or even cash!! (not to talk it up lol)

but really, honestly, to be completely truthful with you, i actually still get a little pee in my pants excited about prize graphics because i got to redesign the look and layout (can i keep from being redundant and saying under scot's watchful eye because i think ya'll get the point now eh?) and i think that even though yah after a while they do look all the same and yada yada yada the new layout allows for a lot more flexibility with what graphic elements can be incorporated, how much text is used, and keeps a consistency throughout the site with the static color scheme. woohoo!! yay for prize graphics!!! hahahaha.

discarded wallpapers that i thought still had some spiffy themes/techniques/use of space/pushing of the company's color palette... i could go on but yah....

here's some of the stuff that came mostly from my input and ps'ing/using image ready(minus the existing logo-duh)

by the way the logo at the top was made by the fabulous scot forbes (totally tangential, but really awesome t-shirts with the logo wrapped around it!!!!), the background was put together by me. i'm sitting here thinking that he would probably go blech and hate it.... but ya know what mon, ya gotta stay true to your inner self, the true inner artist, the one that makes you want to sit in rush hour traffic on a monday morning.

uh so this was supposed to be a synopsis of my work i’ve done at Take 180 Studios so far and where the work has gone but instead i’ve gone off on tangents and rants because that's just who i am!!! so i will add as i feel like it and have time, and dude, go check out the site. its so easy. disclaimer: most of these prizes are past their prime but the ones that are up are just as dope. all you have to do is click on one of the images. any one of them. just click. click. peace!
